Hillclimb was a blast. Saw some new expressions on some faces at the top, huge effort by all. A big thanks to Julia, Catherine & Sue for their help with the organization of the day. We will be keen to run this event again if there is support so please post a response to this if [...] This year we will be following a slightly different format. GOAL: Form a group of riders of a similar ability who share the under 5 hr at Taupo goal that can ride together once a week as part of their Taupo training. The intent is for this group to be able to ride together on the [...] 2 Lap individual TT results including comparison times from the first ride of the season. We are proposing to end the season with another 2 lap individual TT on march 25th. Too let us know what you would prefer post a reply to this post. You will ride through magnificent countryside from one world famous tourist destination to another using private sealed forestry roads, SH5, peaceful country roads and even parts of the famous Ironman course finishing inside the Taupo Events Centre. A great way to spend a weekend for cyclists of all levels, with [...] We will be starting these rides again on November 12th. The first ride will be an individual time trial to help set handicap times. Refer to the Bunch rides page for full details. Firstly a big thanks to the DoC ladies for their efforts supporting this event, it made a tough ride so much more enjoyable. Secondly what a great effort by all those who rode the course, that was a tough course.
