DoC Day of Cycling. Poker Run, AGM and Prizegiving

In December the Department of Cycling holds the Day of Cycling on a suitable Sunday.

In 2015 we start Sunday 13th December with The Poker Run!

8am start at AvantiPlus Waitakere

This is followed at 1pm by the Annual General Meeting, the serious business of the day and is located in Langtons on Lincoln.

All members are invited to have their say after a short run down of the year in Department of Cycling from the president and committee positions filled.

After a short break refreshments will be served and prize giving will commence.  (from 2pm)  Please help with these prizes by filling in a nomination form.

You are welcome to come to any or all of these events and we encourage you to have your say.  You must be a current member 2014 / 2015 membership year to have a vote in the AGM and cast your nominations for positions and awards.

  • Sunday 25th options include, ride up to Mt Egmont Nat Park (bit winding and hilly) and or shopping, a visit to White Cliffs organic Brewery, and lunch there an option. Waterfront walk is a must do as well. For those more adventurous there are some great treks to do, various levels up the western flank of Mt Taranaki.
