DoC Day of Cycling. This Sunday 4th Dec 2011

First up is the 3 up TT

Registration from 7:30am at Avantiplus Waitakere.

Ride start 8:00am

Cost:   Gold coin donation

You will put into teams of three and set off on the 23km Ride (course announced on the day) There is a stop at half way where you will need to complete a mystery challenge before completing the ride. The last person accross the line stops the clock for your team. Fastest team wins but watch out, penalties will be handed out for teams taking things too seriously. This is a fun event and extra points will be given for best costume and craziest bike!!

Next event for the day is the Club AGM @ 1pm.

All club members are invited to attend the AGM to be held at the Waitemata Rugby Clubrooms (96 Swanson Road) If you are unable to attend and wish to contribute to the AGM please email info to Secretary@deptofcycling.com

Primary objective is to elect the officers of the club. Members are invited to nominate for the following commitee positions

  • Chairperson     (Jeff Webb standing for re-election)
  • Secretary  (Sue Turk standing for re-election)
  • Treasurer  (Rob Norcross standing for re-election)
  • Road Delegate (Club Captian-Road)
  • MTB Delegate  (Club Captian -MTB)
  • Membership Co-Ordinator
  • Events/Logistics Co-ordinator   (Rochelle Young standing for re-election)

We will also be calling for interested parties to fill the following Sub-committee positions

Events/Logistics (3), Road (2), Mtb (2)

Jafakids representavies and committee are not up for renewal at this time.

A person will also be co-opted to handle communications either at the AGM or at a later date.

Annual Community Cycling Awards @ 2pm (venue same as above)

Join the DoC team to celebrate this years cycling acheivments. Enjoy a complimentary drink and nibbles on arrival,  cash bar and Guest speaker Greg Cross from the Pure Black Racing team. At the awards you will also have the opportunity to:

  • Be the first  to sign up for next years 100K Flyer
