In my many many years of using MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation, I thought that's good enough. Then, I learned how to use MS Power BI, which for me looks like a combination of both MS Excel and PowerPoint but in a more powerful way. Power BI can handle large datasets more efficiently than Excel. I have also enjoyed doing data modelling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). In some ways writing DAX feels a bit like using python ๐I cant remember if PowerPoint has slicers/ drill-through features like Power BI does. The picture was when I went to a Power BI class; doing a so much simpler version of data modelling than what it would actually look like in real world ๐

๐ท Data Cleaning and Manipulation using Power Query. ๐ ๐ท Have you ever downloaded a dataset and realized it needed serious cleaning before you could analyse it?" โ Dirty data leads to unreliable insights. Today, I'll show you how Power Query helps data analysts conquer this challenge. Power Query is a powerful tool in Excel that streamlines data cleaning and manipulation. โด ๐ท Cleaning Techniques used- identifying and removing of duplicates.- how to fill in missing values- how to transform data formats (e.g., dates, text to uppercase).- use filtering and sorting for targeted cleaning.๐ท Data Manipulation- creating calculated columns๐ท In conclusion, we could see the efficacies of data cleaning for accurate analysis and its capabilities for streamlining the process.Call to Action: Encourage viewers to explore Power Query and share their data-cleaning experiences in the comments.#portfolio #dataportfolio #domainknowledge #dataanalyticsbootcamp##DataAnalysis #DataVisualization #BusinessIntelligence#DataAnalytics #Excel #PowerQuery #PowerPivot #Efficiency #DataModeling #Bootcamp2024 #excel #powerbi #mssqlserver #tableau #dataanalytics #problemsolvingskills #dataanalyst #sql #dataanalysis #data #analytics #visualization #python #microsoftexcel#microsoftpowerbi #portfolio #dataportfolio #domainknowledge #Quantum #Anietie
