Do I need to be in uniform for an AMC flight? ›

Uniforms are not required for AMC flights, but please have ready access to your DOD ID card (CAC) and your tags (dog tags). Will my bags transfer to the AMC flight? NO!

Service members and their families can use Space-A flights – formally known as Military Airlift Command or MAC flights – to travel around the country and world at a reduced cost or for free. Though sometimes unpredictable, military flights are perfect for families with flexible plans and limited travel budgets.

Each passenger may check two pieces of luggage up to 70 pounds and 62 linear (length+width+height) inches each. Motorized assistance equipment may not exceed 100 pounds in weight.
